Go on, get it all out of your system. These are a few of my least favourite things: puffery; CV-padding; people talking outside of their oh-so-very-limited expertise and acting like no one is catching on; people wasting people’s time with self-important drivel; people in cars talking on cellphones; people lying; people leading people on; people acting like we’re the stupid ones with no good ideas, when it’s you, it’s you, you’re the stupid ones with no ideas; having to participate in the grand charade that what is is all that could be, when it’s so obviously just one among a huge number of possible outcomes; having to work double-time triple-time octuple-time to fall only quite far (as opposed to insanely far) behind the lucky bastards borne along on winds of status quo and as-it-ever-was-ness; having to grub for money for good ideas when terrible ideas are born into this world with a bottomless chequing account; works of putative art made by people who really haven’t learned to think; the idea that the new never needs to justify itself, whereas the old has to bow and scrape and enter through the trade entrance; people who complain rather than buckle the fuck down and get to work.
